Interview with ARC Realty Intern
We are excited to introduce you to a newer member of the ARC team! We have had the privilege of having Gabbrionna “Gabbie” Teer as our intern since January. Gabbie is a rising honor senior at Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School in Birmingham. She is a hard worker and a great asset to our daily office operations. We sat down with Gabbie this week to ask her a few questions about her time at ARC Realty.
What do you plan on doing once you graduate? I plan to major in Criminal Justice and minor in Real Estate at a 4yr University away from home. Once I’m done with those 4 years I will transfer to UAB to major in Forensic and receive a Bachelor’s Degree to become a Forensic Science Technician. I also plan to stay in contact with ARC to further my career in real estate.
What do you enjoy most about interning at ARC? I enjoy so much at ARC! The people here are amazing! When I first started interning at ARC, everyone was so welcoming. The best part is having someone come up to you and ask a favor. I love helping others.
What have you learned so far? I’ve learned so much at ARC! I now know how to enter data into different systems, how to create flyers for agents, and how to edit and send email blasts. I also learned the procedures behind selling a home in the financing department.
What is your favorite job task to do at ARC? My favorite job task at ARC is managing the ARC Instagram and Pinterest accounts. You can never go wrong with social media!
What has surprised you about working in the real estate industry the most? The thing that surprised me the most at ARC is everyone’s generosity. I’ve never felt so welcomed at a workplace until I came here. Everyone is so helpful and considerate.
What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy going to the park or the mall. I love driving around town looking at different houses. I also love to sing and listen to music.
Thanks to Gabbie for her hard work and contribution to ARC. We are so glad you’re here!
