Alabama Jazz Festival
Alabama Jazz Festival is featuring Kirk Whalum as the headliner and Just A Few ‘Jazz’ Cats, Kim Scott, Lindsey Webster, Adam Hawley, Julian Vaughn, and Pieces of a Dream. This event is brought to you by Magic City Smooth Jazz and Perfect Note Restaurant. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the music!

Float Your Boat Festival
Turkey Creek Nature Preserve hosts its annual Float Your Boat Summer Festival on Saturday, July 17. With boat races, an ice cream giveaway, great local food, swimming, and an activity zone for children, this festival is a great way to celebrate summer while supporting a wonderful cause.

Flicks Among the Flowers
Nothing says summer more than a night spent among the blooming flowers. Grab a blanket and enjoy the classic movie Grease. Admission is free, although a $5 donation is encouraged. No dogs or alcoholic beverages are allowed. Gates open at 6PM and the movie begins at dusk.

Roaring 20’s Interactive Murder Mystery Dinner
Get spooked at this fun and interactive murder mystery dinner! Once you’ve solved the crime with your fellow detectives, you’ll have the opportunity to tour the historic Arlington House. If you’re feeling brave, stay late for a ghost hunt with state of the art paranormal investigation equipment to explore the mansion.
