In honor of Giving Tuesday, here are some of our favorite nonprofits we support in Montgomery! Please join us in making a difference!
Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama
BCRFA strives to help find a cure for breast cancer by funding promising breast cancer research in Alabama and to raise community awareness and funding for that research. They’ve funded over 12 million in research. GET INVOLVED
Brantwood Children’s Home
Brantwood Children’s Home fosters boys and girls ages 10-20 years old that have not gotten a fair start to life, through no actions of their own, and becomes a surrogate family for those entering; Their goal is simple- to provide a place for the heart to heal and important relationships to blossom.
Child Protect
Child Protect is a children’s advocacy center that works with our local law enforcement agencies to investigate child abuse cases. The goal of the staff of Child Protect is to minimize the trauma a victim endures. Child Protect provides free, individual counseling to all children seen at their agency from ages 3-18..
The King’s Canvas
The King’s Canvas is a non-profit studio/gallery in west Montgomery, with a focus on providing a creative space and resources for underexposed and under resourced artists in the community, and was founded by Kevin King. .
Dementia Friendly Alabama
Dementia Friendly Alabama is an initiative to bring awareness and support to those living with dementia and their care partners throughout Alabama. They strive to build partnerships to create communities where those living with dementia can live and thrive.
The Family Sunshine Center
The Family Sunshine Center fosters hope and healing for survivors of family violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking through the provision of crisis intervention, safe shelter, counseling, advocacy, and supportive service.
