Bare Hands, Inc.’s Día de los Muertos festival is one of the most intricate Day of the Dead celebrations in the Southeast. From massive art installations, music and dance performances and beautiful costumes, to a parade procession with puppets, homemade memorial altars (ofrendas) and food trucks, Día de los Muertos Número 22 will be an event you do not want to miss!

Moss Rock Festival

Visit the Hoover Met for the 18^th Moss Rock Festival, a weekend inspired by nature, smart living, art, and design! The festival welcomes over 10,000 visitors annually and features dozens of artists, makers, brewers, and bakers. Bring the whole family for a day in the great outdoors!

Birmingham Vegan Fest

We will showcase the booming local vegan scene, so there will be a heavy emphasis on local food trucks, popups, and other vegan-friendly vendors. Also, there will be plenty of traveling vendors with some great booths and food trucks. We will also have a DJ and face painting! There will be multiple vegan door prizes given away each hour, so stop by the Birmingham Vegan booth at the main entrance of Cahaba Brewing Co. to sign up for a chance to win!

National Veterans Day Parade & Fireworks Show

Did you know our nation’s first Veterans Day Parade took place in 1947 right here in Alabama? Today, Birmingham still honors that tradition by holding a parade and fireworks show each year. Join in on the fun by viewing the 76th Annual Parade downtown at 1:00 PM. You can find the parade route here! Following the parade, head to your favorite spot throughout Birmingham to watch the sky above Vulcan light up in celebration of our nation’s Veterans.
