Bare Hands, Inc.’s Día de los Muertos festival is one of the most intricate Day of the Dead celebrations in the Southeast. National Veterans Day Parade & Fireworks Show
Did you know our nation’s first Veterans Day Parade took place in 1947 right here in Alabama? Today, Birmingham still honors that tradition by holding a parade and fireworks show each year. Join in on the fun by viewing the 76th Annual Parade downtown at 1:00 PM. You can find the parade route here! Following the parade, head to your favorite spot throughout Birmingham to watch the sky above Vulcan light up in celebration of our nation’s Veterans.
