5 Places to See Christmas Lights in 2019

The Holidays are here and Birmingham is fully lit with Christmas cheer! If you’re like us, one of our favorite things to due during the holidays is to drive around looking at Christmas lights! This year we’ve compiled a list of some of the brightest displays of lights our city has to offer. Sit back, relax and enjoy the light show!

Zoolight Safari

Experience the Birmingham Zoo as it transforms into a Winter Wonderland this holiday season. Take a plunge on the 100 foot Yuletide Slide, tour the zoo on the Shipt Candy Cane Ride, take a spin on the Jingle Bell Carousel, and so much more, all while surrounded by over one million lights, holiday tunes, and a nightly snowfall!

Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland

Enjoy over 3 miles of bright lights dancing to music at the Santa’s Mountain theme at Birmingham Greyhound Racing. This display has been named “the most immersive drive-through Christmas experience on earth!”

The Cloutier Christmas Lights

This show allows you to get out of your car and enjoy the lights. Each night features a live show with different music. There is even a mailbox where kid can put their letters to Santa!

Christmas Fantasy Land

Come experience this long standing family tradition at the Christmas Fantasy Land! Fantasy Land has even earned the Power Express Award for their Christmas lights making this stop worth your drive to Calera.
