Thirty years ago, only one in five women diagnosed would survive. Today, thanks to groundbreaking research, much of it happening right here in Alabama at UAB, four out of five women now survive their diagnosis.

This October, ARC Realty is going pink to raise awareness and funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama (BCRFA). Our company-wide goal is $25,000, and we need your help to get there!

💰 How We’re Raising $25,000

1️⃣ $25 for Every New Listing
Throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, ARC Realty will donate $25 for every new property listing across all offices.

2️⃣ Donations + Community Support
We’re accepting donations and encouraging everyone to give what they can. Every dollar makes a difference.

3️⃣ Office Fundraisers
ARC offices across Alabama are hosting fun and creative in-office fundraisers throughout October to help us reach our goal. From bake sales and raffles to themed spirit days, every effort helps raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.

4️⃣ Pink Yard Signs + Balloons
In addition to raising funds, ARC Realty is spreading awareness by swapping out our yard sign riders and balloons for pink throughout October — a visible reminder of our commitment to the cause.

5️⃣ Education + Awareness
We’re also sharing educational content on social media all month long to help our community learn more about breast cancer prevention, detection, and the importance of continued research.

6️⃣ Blue Goes Pink Restaurant Tour
Throughout October, we’re teaming up with local restaurants for our Blue Goes Pink Restaurant Tour! Each participating restaurant will host a Blue Goes Pink Night, donating a portion of proceeds to support breast cancer research.

🎗️ About the BCRFA

Founded in 1996, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama (BCRFA) funds life-saving breast cancer research right here in our state. Their mission: to find a cure by supporting innovative, collaborative research that diagnoses, treats, prevents, and ultimately eradicates the disease.

Since its founding, BCRFA has invested $16 million into breast cancer research across Alabama. In 2024 alone, they invested $1.25 million in local institutions including:

• The O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB
• Alabama State University
• Auburn University
• The Mitchell Cancer Institute at the University of South Alabama
• The University of Alabama
• Tuskegee University
• HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology
