ARC Through the Lense of Our Marketing Intern

Our beloved summer intern, Lexie, is heading back to school at UAB! We have enjoyed having her work with ARC this summer and getting to know her personality. She is a hard worker, eager to learn and passionate about life! Check out our interview with Lexie on her experience interning with ARC!

What has been your favorite part of working at ARC?

Getting to know all of the agents and staff.  I’m so thankful I was able to spend my summer surrounded by so many fun and genuine people. From mid-day dance parties to practical jokes, there was never a dull moment around the office!

What have you learned during your time at ARC?

Wow, there’s so much to share! Kristie, ARC’s Marketing & Communications Manager, has taught me so much about branding, marketing, design, and the importance of organization. I’ve also learned some pretty valuable lessons by watching our ARC agents- when it comes to being successful, nothing beats hard work and kindness!

What about the real estate industry surprised you?

Real estate requires a lot of teamwork! Our realtors are constantly collaborating rather than competing. This industry is fun, and it’s evident when you see the agents at work; however, it can definitely be stressful. ARC fosters an amazing community of agents and staff where there’s always someone willing to lend a helping hand.

What will you miss most about working at ARC?

The people! ARC truly is ‘a relationship company’ full of people who support and encourage each other. I love my ARC family!

Any future in real estate?

Absolutely! I’d love to get my real estate license and work in the referral company while I’m still in school.

What’s next for you?

I’ll be finishing up my degree in Communications and Business at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (Go Blazers!) and then continuing my education at UAB in pursuit of my MBA.
