Dia de los Muertos
Join Bare Hands Gallery at the 15th Annual Day of the Dead Festival! Stroll through Pepper Place as you enjoy live music, dance, food vendors, the Corona Beer Garden, kid’s activities, and most importantly, the altars erected to those we have loved. Dress in bones, as a sugar skull, or for a fiesta! Don’t miss out on this joyful remembrance of lost loved ones.

Moss Rock Festival
Visit the Preserve in Hoover for the 12th Eco-Creative Festival, a weekend inspired by nature, smart living, art, and design! The festival welcomes over 10,000 visitors annually and features dozens of artists, makers, brewers, and bakers. Bring the whole family for a day in the great outdoors!

National Veterans Day Parade & Fireworks Show
Did you know our nation’s first Veterans Day Parade took place in 1947 right here in Alabama? Today, Birmingham still honors that tradition by holding a parade and fireworks show each year. Join in on the fun by viewing the parade downtown at 1:30 PM. You can find the parade route here! Following the parade, head to your favorite spot throughout Birmingham to watch the sky above Vulcan light up in celebration of our nation’s Veterans.
