February 2020 Events in Montgomery
February 2020 is a leap year and the month of love! The River Region has some incredible events in store for us this month. Whether you want to find more time to exercise or experience something new, we’ve gathered a few of this month’s best races, crafts, and events for you to enjoy in our 2020 February Event Guide to Montgomery!
Make & Take – “Love You More!”
This is a kid-friendly, quick, stencil-only event. Limited paint colors will be provided to complete this project; wood blocks will be pre-stained.

Botanical Art Workshop For Adults
Artists and flora-lovers (aged 14 and older) are invited to join us in the studio for a winter session of the Museum’s botanical drawing series. Participants will create art inspired by floral works in the Museum’s collection and by live camellias, Alabama’s winter-blooming state flower.

Free Live Music: Rivertown Road
Rivertown Road is the featured artist for our February free concert. This is a free, family-friendly concert and outside food welcome!

Basic Woodturning Class
Longleaf Wood Shop is offering a basic woodturning class on Thursday evenings! Participants will be assigned their own lathe and tools and will make a wooden shop mallet to keep.

Beaver Trail 5K
The Beaver Trail 5K will take runners on the beautiful Lagoon Park Trails, Montgomery’s outdoor adventure area! After the race, runners will enjoy complimentary post-race refreshments and musical entertainment.

Children’s Center Adult Program 5k Run and Walk
