Glow Wild
Experience the Birmingham Zoo as it transforms into a Winter Wonderland this holiday season. Take a plunge on the 100 foot Yuletide Slide, tour the zoo on the Candy Cane Ride, take a spin on the Jingle Bell Carousel, and so much more, all while surrounded by over one million lights, holiday tunes, and a nightly snowfall!

MLK Day 5K Drum Run
ARC is proud to be a sponsor the 5th annual MLK Day 5K Drum Run/Walk! The race begins and ends in the heart of the Civil Rights District and features drum lines from the metro area schools that will line up along the race course to keep the beat as the runners and walkers make their way. Join us as we come together as a community to celebrate the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in the spirit of sisterhood and brotherhood with fellowship and fitness.

Pink Bride Wedding Show
Did you know over 30% of proposals take place in December? If you recently got engaged, make plans to attend the Pink Bride Wedding Show. Formerly known as the Southern Bridal Show, this event is your one-stop-shop for wedding planning and showcases the best wedding professionals Birmingham has to offer. You’ll also get to see inspirational showcases, a fashion show featuring this season’s bridal and bridesmaid fashions, tasty food and drinks, giveaways, and tons of shopping!

Birmingham Boat Show
The Birmingham Boat Show was the first public event ever held at the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center in 1972. Exactly 20 years later to the day, the Boat Show was the first Event held in the new expanded East Exhibit Hall. The show is now the oldest and largest in the State of Alabama. With over 250,000 square feet, the Show highlights the latest in Boats, Motors, Fishing gear, Guides, Outfitters and related outdoor gear.
