Secret Stages
Head downtown for Birmingham’s 6th annual two-day music discovery festival. Experience over 60 bands performing on stages across Birmingham’s downtown Loft District. These acts were drawn from the nation, the region, and even our own back yard, and they can all be seen within a two-block radius! Join us for access to dozens of great bands, a variety of venues, as well as the many restaurants, pubs, shopping and other attractions downtown Birmingham has to offer.

Birmingham Restaurant Week
Wine and dine all week long during this 10-day culinary affair which features more than 70 restaurants! Sample delicious dishes, sip wines, local craft beers and cocktails, all while uncovering the best of what Birmingham has to dish out.

Southern Makers Festival
Southern Makers is a two-day event that celebrates the best in creativity and design with artists that live and work in the south. The event activities explore and center on taking southern traditions and applying them in a modern, sustainable world. Learn a little something about why the south is a unique and creative place to live, discover, and visit at this one-of-a-kind event celebrating all things Southern!

Art on the Rocks
Don’t miss your last chance in 2017 to attend the Birmingham Museum of Art’s dynamic summer series! Enjoy a night at the museum with some of Birmingham’s best musicians, artists, and makers. Sidewalk Film Festival
Check out the best in new, independent films! Narratives, documentaries, features, and short films are all featured at the 19th Annual Sidewalk Film Festival! This 3-day event will shine a special spotlight on Alabama filmmakers. Sidewalk will take place at various locations in Downtown Birmingham’s Theater District including Alabama Theater, Red Mountain Theater Company, Carver Theater, and Alabama School of Fine Arts. With so many different films (266 to be exact), you’re sure to find something you enjoy.
