Rock the Lot – Prattville

Kick off Independence Weekend at Rock the Lot featuring live music from local bands, family-friendly activities, and food trucks. Festivities start at 6:30 PM and wrap with a fireworks display to light up the night. Bring blankets or chairs and enjoy a community celebration outdoors in Prattville.
Montgomery Biscuits Independence Day Game & Fireworks
July 3 / Riverwalk Stadium, Montgomery / Website
Watch the Biscuits take the field at Riverwalk Stadium and stick around after the game for one of the best fireworks shows in the city. The first 1,000 fans aged 15+ receive a free t-shirt at the gate. Game time is 6:35 PM with gates opening at 5:30 PM.
Sip-n-Cycle Independence Day Boat Party
July 3–5 / Riverfront Park Dock, Montgomery / Website
Celebrate Independence Day on the Alabama River with a BYOB pedal-boat cruise. Sip-n-Cycle’s 90-minute river tours run five times a day and include a captain, first mate, and great views. Cruises fill up fast, so reserve your spot in advance for this fun and festive way to spend the holiday weekend.
Wetumpka’s Independence Celebration

Head to Downtown Wetumpka for a family-friendly evening filled with live music, local vendors, children’s activities, and a fireworks finale over the Coosa River. Admission is free. Bring a lawn chair and your best red, white, and blue outfit to celebrate the Fourth a day early in one of the River Region’s most charming towns.
Montgomery Independence Day Celebration
July 4 / Riverfront Amphitheater, Montgomery / Website
Montgomery’s annual Fourth of July celebration features a live performance by the 151st Alabama Army National Guard Band, followed by a fireworks display over the Alabama River. Food trucks will be onsite and the event is free to attend. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the show starting at 8:00 PM.
Harriott II Fireworks Cruise

Board the Harriott II for a special Fourth of July river cruise with live entertainment, a cash bar, and prime views of the city’s fireworks show. The cruise boards at Riverfront Park and departs at 8:00 PM. This is a popular event, so booking in advance is recommended.
Lake Jordan HOBO 4th of July Boat Parade

Boaters from across the region decorate their vessels and parade around Lake Jordan in this beloved annual tradition. Boats line up near Camp Rotary on the Titus side at 9:30 AM, with the parade starting at 10:00 AM. Patriotic spirit encouraged!
Red, White & Tube at Montgomery Whitewater

Creekwalk Concerts Series – Military Appreciation Night

This free summer concert series continues with a special Military Appreciation performance. Join neighbors and servicemembers on the Creekwalk at Pratt Park from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy live music in historic downtown Prattville. Food trucks will be on-site. Creekwalk Concerts occur on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays in June and July.
