Saturdays – Farmers Market
7am-noon at The Shoppes at Eastchase
Since opening in 2004, The Shoppes at EastChase Farmers Market has grown every year, and is now one of the top five largest markets in Alabama.

Friday, 9/6 – First Friday Cruise-Ins
5:30pm-7pm on lower Dexter Ave
Enjoy family friendly fun on Dexter Ave featuring vehicles that will be in place along the avenue with numerous restaurants and food trucks!

Saturday, 9/7 – First Saturday Music Series: Pre-Sputnik
6pm-8:30pm at Common Bond Brewers
Pre-Sputnik is the featured artist for September’s First Saturday Music concert event. This is a free family friendly concert with outside food welcome.

11am-12pm at Juliette Hampton Morgan Memorial Library
Calling ALL Fathers and Daughters to Dads and Daughters Saturday for storytimes, fun and laughs! Free event.

Thursday, 9/19 – Food for Thought Lunchtime Lecture Series
12pm-1pm at Alabama Department of Archives and History
September’s Food for Through Lecture will be with William Nichols on Go and Be Reconciled: Alabama Methodists Confront Racial Injustice, 1954 – 1974. This is a free event with beverages provided. The public is invited to bring a brown bag lunch.

Thursday, 9/19 – Evening in the Garden
6pm-8pm at Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts
Join MMFA for a vibrant mix of art and entertainment in the Caddell Sculpture Garden. This free event will feature outdoor yoga led by instructor Frank “Breeze” Smith, music, and a fun art-making activity.
