Crawl Before You Can Walk!

The Bham Art Crawl is excited to help kick-off Art Walk! Join us on Thursday, September 5th at The Pizitz for an early start on celebrating one of the most anticipated art events of the year!

2019 BBQ at the Brew

Enjoy great BBQ and beer at the 2019 BBQ at the Brew on Saturday, September 7 at Cahaba Brewing Company! All proceeds benefit Cristo Rey in Birmingham.

Cook-off teams will compete in a number of categories, and your general admission armband purchase ($15 in advance, $20 at the door) entitles you to free samples. There will also be food trucks, live music, and–of course–TVs to watch college football!

Jewish Food and Culture Fest

Join us for The Friedman Family Foundation Jewish Food and Culture Fest on Sunday, September 8th from 11am – 3pm at the Levite Jewish Community Center.

The event features the When Pigs Fly Kosher BBQ Cook-Off and is a fun, free, family-friendly celebration that’s open to the entire community!

We’ll have food available for purchase, live music, kids activities and so much more!

Pooches on the Patio

You’re invited – and so is your dog! Vino, Birmingham’s premier Mediterranean restaurant, is hosting “Pooches on the Patio” to celebrate its eighth anniversary. The GBHS will be on-site with adoptable dogs, and Vino will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the evening to the GBHS. Guests are invited to bring their dogs and join the celebration. Tito’s Handmade Vodka will also be at the event giving out Vodka for Dog People merchandise.

90s Bar Crawl: Birmingham

We had numerous requests to come back to Birmingham, so we’re reaching into the depths of our closets for our slap bracelets, scrunchies, and Tamagotchis once again for the biggest and best 90s party, like, EVER!

Whether you grew up in the greatest decade or just happen to have a love for all things 90s, (seriously, what’s not to love?), we’d love for you to join us for a day of nostalgia, positivity, and most of all, 90s-style FUN! Cowabunga, dude!
